Rules and Regulations for the Bowling

Event Date: September 26, 2024

1. Prize Allocation

  • Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top-performing entrepreneurs at the Bowl-a-Thon.

    These prizes are exclusively reserved for the 20 black-owned businesses present at the event. They are not available to the general admission or participating corporate entities.

  • Eligibility: These prizes are exclusively reserved for the 20 Afro-descendant businesses present at the Bowl-a-thon. They are not available to the general public or participating corporate entities**.**

  • Claiming Prizes: A representative of the winning team must be present at the event. Prizes will not be awarded to individuals who are not in attendance.

2. Scoring and Winners

  • Score Calculation: Scores will be determined by the average of both games from each team played during the event.

  • First Place: The team with the highest average score will be awarded first place. In case of a tie between two teams, the winning team will be determined based on which team reached their final score first, as recorded on the official bowling score sheet provided by the bowling alley.

  • Second and Third Place: The same tie-breaking procedure will apply for second and third place. Ties will be resolved by referring to the score sheet to see which team reached their final score faster.

3. Prize Distribution

  • One Prize per Team: Each winning team will receive one prize. Prizes will not be distributed individually to each member of the team.
