artUP festival

artUP is a think tank of creativity, enabling the expression of culture through our own lenses. It provides a platform for financing, producing and showcasing projects and artworks of and for melanated artisans.

artUP provides a structure of support for participants to develop their own artworks. A public program of events allows participants to gain access to a range of cultural producers. Invited artists, scholars, critics and curators will lead workshops and share their own experience of Black embodiment with participants.
